Living in Springville, Utah is a lot like living in any home town, with local sports being a big part of the lifestyle. Families look for T-Ball, Little League, soccer and of course, junior high and high school sports. What is sport organizations are in Springville, Utah? Are their sport opportunities for adults? Is there a parks and recreation department in Springville?

There is a Springville Recreation Department. They sponsor a few things like a 3 on 3 baskeball tournament once a year, aerobics and swimming. There may also be others. There are a few unsponsored groups who get together in the mornings and play basketball. Others do the same with soccer in the evenings, but not as consistently. There used to be a lot of participation in LDS church sports like basketball and volleyball. This interest seems to have waned. Perhaps many are disaffected, too busy with work or too busy shuttling children around to their sports, lessons or school activities. I for one would like to see the City sponsor more adult sports on a regular basis. I think their is a great interest in it lately.
